Bernardo Concrete was asked by the Garden Grove School District to repair and construct handicap ramps at Patton Elementary School. Constructing the Handicap Ramps
We arrived at the job site and began to unload all of the equipment. Once everything was unloaded we began to mark off the area keeping in mind the safety of others. The first thing we had to do was saw cut out the area in order to make a clean edge for the placement of the handicap ramps. Next we picked up and hauled away all the pieces of broken concrete with our unique bobcats and dump trucks. Once the area was completely cleared we started to pour and form the handicap ramp. Along with the concrete handicap ramps truncated domes and12 inch grooves are inserted especially for the visually impaired. What a Little Concrete Removal Work Requires
We arrived at the job site with all the proper equipment needed to get the project done. The first step in the concrete removal process is to measure and mark off the desired area to be removed in order to determine what we are going to saw cut. Next we unload the bobcats and put on the proper concrete removal attachments. With the two bobcats, one specifically punctures the concrete while the other one gathers the concrete pieces into the bucket. The second bobcat then inputs the concrete pieces from the bucket into the dump truck. This process repeats several times until all the concrete pieces are completely removed from the area. Finally, the concrete that was removed can be hauled away to local dumps in the area.
