]]> Bernardo Concrete was asked to do some concrete construction work for a property manager on an industrial building in Redondo Beach, CA. Redondo Beach is in and around Hermosa Beach, Torrance, Gardena, and Hawthorne. The removal and replacement of the concrete slab required a little more work than just demolition and replacement. However, this was a job Bernardo Concrete knew they had the skills and technical know how for and were able to get the job done successfully and on time.

Working to Complete This Concrete Slab

We were first asked to re construct a small area for an industrial building, but we then discovered that there was a change that needed to be made. The small concrete slab now turned into a larger area of concrete to be removed. The beginning process for this project dealt with saw cutting out the area that needed to be removed. Once the previous concrete slab was removed, the next step was to excavate an extra  foot of dirt and then the placement of the rebar was done. The rebar was tied and dowels were placed around the perimeter of the slab for a metal table. After the rebar was fully intact our concrete slab was now ready for inspection. The customer requested 4 extra  footings to be done. This specific project required a little more work than usual but we still managed to get the job done right.
