We established all new block walls in several areas from the ground up. Once we removed the existing block wall we dug the new footings and placed new rebar about 32 inches apart to help support the block wall. We had to construct a 6 ft high wall using tan precision block and cement. The rebar was placed vertically and horizontally within the walls and grouted for structural strength to help prevent any damage. A round cap was placed at the top of the walls to complete the project. All new walls were built to the city standards of Costa Mesa. The cleanup back filling and grading was all done by us at Bernardo to leave the project as least impacted to the customer.
