Just this past week Bernardo was hired to input a buy disulfiram over counter concrete slab of 200 yards for a property manager in Huntington Beach. This was a very large project for us but we managed to complete the job within two days. For this project we were hired to form and pour the concrete slab. With the large crew working to get the job done we were able to set certain crew members to complete a specific part of the concrete slab. At Bernardo we are always organized and are sure to have a plan set so we are well prepared and able to take on any job no matter how large or small it may be. After we completed the project our customer let us know how pleased he was with the work we accomplished for him.

Getting to work on this Concrete Slab

In order to work as planned we started the day bright and early by laying down the rebar all along the flat land where the concrete slab was going to be poured. After all the rebar was positioned correctly we brought in the cement trucks to pour the concrete. We only poured a certain area at a time so that we could work on that one area before it dried. With every area we poured we had to form the cement, which meant we had to level it to an exact 4″ thick throughout the entire area of the slab. For a concrete slab this large we made precise measures so that we wouldn’t make any mistakes. After all the areas were completely poured and leveled we finished off the concrete slab with a broom finish.

Over a long period of time and after constant weight barring over the concrete floor it was time it be removed and replaced. With fresh new concrete poured it created sturdy concrete slabs that will now last for over fifty years with no severe damage. At this Santa Fe Springs truck distribution center there is constant truck flow in and out of the area weighing several tons; which wears down the concrete causing severe damage. Getting to Work on the New Concrete Slabs

For this job it required us to remove concrete in several different areas and replace it with new concrete slabs. The demo work was done with several bobcats and several crew members. After all the debris from the concrete was hauled away we started to construct the forms for the new concrete slabs prior to the new concrete being poured. After the forming for the concrete slabs we poured and placed the cement into the perimeter of the concrete slabs. Once all the concrete was poured we graded the cement to form a leveled 6″ thick concrete slab. After all the concrete slabs were formed and leveled we began to screed the concrete and ended with a light broom finish.

Choosing the Experts for Concrete Slab Reconstruction

Completing the Concrete Slab

Now that the area for the concrete slab was leveled, we placed the rebar and started to pour the concrete. After the concrete was poured about 4” thick we used our tools to smooth and form the concrete slab. Once the slab was complete and smooth we used our brooms to sweep the surface to a nice finish. Our customers were nothing less than satisfied with the concrete slab we repaired for them. There was nothing but good remarks by our customers.
